Alain Gree, a French picture book author and illustrator, was born in Eaubonne, a suburb of Paris, France on July 21, 1936. After learning and graduating from graphic arts and atelier at “Ecole des Arts Appliques” in Paris, he majored in fine art at “Beaux Arts de Paris”. He then started to prduce “fun to study learning books” for children, which were not so common at the time in France. Currently, he is a leading graphic designer and an editor of paper publications, icluding advertisements.
